Windrush 2020 Service
On Monday June 22nd Lambeth Council marked Windrush Day 2020, a celebration and commeroration for all that that generation has given to this country. We had a short service also to mark this, which you can listen to here.
Churches act of solidarity with Black Lives Matter
People representing around 20 churches in the Lambeth Deanery joined together for an act of commitment and solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in Brockwell Park on Saturday 27 June. Revd Kit Gunasekera of St James’ Church spoke for a few minutes and then those gathered knelt for 8 mins 46 seconds.
