Our Faith

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life.”

— John’s Gospel, Chapter 3 verse 16

We believe that Jesus Christ revealed the love of God for each of us. The death and resurrection of Jesus is central to our faith.

We believe that deep and lasting change, towards gratitude, justice and peace, comes through God’s love. God inspires us to change positively and to live hopeful lives for ourselves and our world. We believe that God hears our prayers and responds. We believe that God gives us strength to change through the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Apostles’ Creed is our statement of faith and has been handed down by Christians from the beginnings of the Church.
The term Creed comes from the word ‘Credo’ and means ‘I believe and trust.’
