Racial Justice Conversations
Listening, Sharing and Learning Together
Next Meeting: TBC
These conversations, once a month, on Zoom, are a space to listen, learn and talk about Racial Justice issues.
We try to send out an email a few days before each session, so that people know what the topic is and offer some suggested reading, or videos to watch. We often begin each session by watching a video, and then the facilitator asks a few questions, and we see where the conversations go. Everyone is given an opportunity to speak.
There is a good mix of people from diverse back grounds, which makes for really good conversations. We value very much, listening attentively and sharing honestly. People have been able to share very personal things, making themselves vulnerable, and that has enabled us to go deeper.
We meet usually once a month, on the 4th Sunday of the month, at 8pm, via Zoom, however sometimes that pattern is changed. If you would like to join in, please subscribe to our enews, at the bottom of our home page.
